JMB Golf Swing Camera — Last updated: August 16, 2026
JMB Enterprises ("we", "us") built the JMB Golf Swing Camera app to help golfers record and analyze their swings. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Swing videos you record are stored locally on your device and, if you allow photo library access, backed up to your device's Camera Roll. Deleting a swing in the app removes it from the app's storage.
Some optional features process video on our servers: if you use the automatic ball-flight tracer or automatic swing detection, the relevant video (or short clips of it) is uploaded to our server solely to perform that analysis. Uploaded video is processed automatically, is not linked to your identity, is not viewed by people, and is deleted after the analysis result is returned — it is not retained on our servers. Model swing videos published by your instructor are stored on our servers so students can view them.
The app requests camera and microphone permission solely to record your swing videos, and photo library permission solely to save copies of your recordings. These permissions are never used for any other purpose.
When you request an AI swing tip, swing-related data (such as position timing information) is sent to our server and processed using OpenAI's API to generate coaching feedback. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used to train AI models.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated identifier and purchase history — never your name, email, or payment details. Payment information is handled entirely by Apple. If you use the share or student-analysis features, content is shared through the apps you choose (Messages, Mail, etc.). We have no access to what you share or who you share it with.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
